Stevens & Billington Limited Grid choke installation. This device has an inductance of around 4000 Henry's. Wound in two halves in opposite directions on a double section bobbin. Each winding is interleaved with paper for reduced interwinding capacitance.

Use the method 2, it has a more balanced sound.

The new grid chokes have no cross connection in the middle, so as to allow for a lower profile, but just connect the leadout wires as shown.

Grid choke can be installed to the nuts holding the PC PCB in place.
